Terms of Service

1. Purpose

These Terms govern the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between WorkKit AI (the "Company") and users of the AI document processing service (the "Service").

2. Definitions

• "Service" means document summarization, document-based chat, OCR, data analysis, file renaming, and related AI document processing features provided by the Company.
• "User" means any member or non-member who uses the Service under these Terms.
• "Content" means documents, images, and data files uploaded by a User while using the Service.

3. Effect and Amendment of Terms

These Terms take effect once posted on the Service. The Company may amend these Terms within the scope permitted by applicable law, and will announce the effective date and reason for any amendment at least 7 days in advance (30 days for changes unfavorable to Users).

4. Provision and Modification of the Service

The Company provides the following services:

• PDF/Word/TXT document summarization and document-based AI chat
• Excel/CSV data analysis and natural-language Q&A
• OCR text extraction from images and scanned documents
• AI-powered file rename suggestions
• Export of analysis results

The Company may change the content or scope of the Service for operational or technical reasons, and will announce the reason and content of such changes in advance.

5. Fees and Payment

The Service offers a free plan and paid subscription plans (Basic, Pro). Pricing and the scope of each plan are announced on the pricing page. Payments for paid plans are processed through the Company's designated payment processor, and payment information is handled securely in accordance with applicable law.

6. Account Management

Users must provide accurate information when signing up, and are responsible for any disadvantage arising from failure to manage their account credentials properly. Users must notify the Company immediately if their account is used without authorization.

7. User Obligations

Users must not:

• Upload content that infringes another person's personal information or intellectual property rights
• Upload unlawful content or content contrary to public order and morals
• Interfere with the normal operation of the Service (e.g. abnormal bulk requests, reverse engineering)
• Engage in conduct prohibited by applicable law or these Terms

8. Content and Intellectual Property

Users retain intellectual property rights in the content they upload. The Company processes content only for the purpose of providing the Service (AI processing and result generation), and handles processed content in accordance with applicable law and the Company's Privacy Policy. Intellectual property in the Service itself (UI, logo, source code, etc.) belongs to the Company.

9. Disclaimer for AI Output

AI summaries, answers, and data-analysis results provided by the Service are for reference only, and the Company does not guarantee their completeness or accuracy. Users should verify AI output against the original document before relying on it for important decisions, and the Company is not liable for damages arising from reliance on AI output absent willful misconduct or gross negligence.

10. Restriction of Use and Termination

The Company may restrict a User's access or terminate the agreement, after notice, if the User violates these Terms. Users may terminate the agreement (delete their account) at any time via the Service's settings.

11. Limitation of Liability

The Company is not liable for failure to provide the Service due to force majeure or failures of third-party providers (cloud/AI API providers, etc.) outside the Company's control.

12. Dispute Resolution and Jurisdiction

The Company and Users will make good-faith efforts to resolve disputes arising from these Terms amicably; unresolved disputes may be brought before a court of competent jurisdiction under applicable civil procedure law.

These Terms are effective as of July 7, 2026.
