WorkKit AI (the "Company") takes user privacy seriously and processes personal data in accordance with applicable law. This policy explains what personal data the Company collects, why, and how.

1. Personal Data Collected

  • At sign-up and use: email address, name, and profile photo provided via Google account login
  • At paid checkout: payment information necessary to process payment (card details are not stored by the Company directly; they are handled by our payment processor)
  • While using the Service: uploaded documents, images, data files, and their content
  • Automatically collected: access logs, IP address, cookies, usage history

2. Purpose of Collection and Use

  • Member identification and authentication for Service use
  • Providing AI summarization, chat, OCR, data analysis, and related Service features on uploaded documents
  • Processing and settlement of paid subscriptions
  • Service improvement, error analysis, and customer support

3. Processing of Uploaded Content

Documents, images, and data uploaded by Users are processed only to generate AI analysis results, and are transmitted to the external AI processor listed under "Section 4, Processing Entrusted to Third Parties" as needed for that purpose. The Company does not use uploaded content for any purpose beyond providing the Service, and destroys it without delay when a User requests deletion or account closure, except where retention is required by law.

4. Processing Entrusted to Third Parties

To provide the Service smoothly, the Company entrusts personal data processing to:

  • Anthropic (Claude API) — for AI processing such as document summarization, chat, and data analysis
  • Google — for account login (OAuth) processing
  • Paddle — for processing paid subscription payments

These entities do not use personal data beyond the entrusted purpose, and protect data in accordance with their own privacy policies.

5. Retention Period

The Company destroys personal data without delay once a User withdraws or the purpose of collection has been achieved, except where retention is required by law (e.g. payment records under consumer protection law governing e-commerce).

6. User Rights

Users may request access to, correction of, deletion of, or suspension of processing of their personal data at any time, via the contact information below.

7. Use of Cookies

The Company may use cookies to improve Service usability. Users may refuse cookies via browser settings, which may limit some Service functionality.

8. Security Measures

The Company implements technical and administrative safeguards, including access control and encryption of data in transit, to protect personal data.
